gerade jetzt fangen die dreharbeiten zu scream 4 an. hayden panettiere wurde schon letzte woche in ann arbor beim friseur gesichtet.

This explains why one of our tipsters, Robert, told us that there were tons of trailers and people at their studio in the industrial park on Varsity Drive in Ann Arbor on Friday. He added that they have reserved one set of buildings in the park for “cast” and another building for “set”.

There are also rumors circulating around Twitter and Facebook that they will be filming in the Burns Park area of Ann Arbor tomorrow (Monday June 28) as several local residents have noticed cones blocking the street today.


In addition to the filming in Burns Park, one of our commentors added that the remodeling of the Woodworth Middle School, 4951 Ternes St Dearborn, MI has been completed and the main entrance, windows, doors and school’s name have all been changed. Another tipster added that there was plenty of activity there today and he was expecting there would be more in the coming days.

Finally, in addition to Neve Campbell (who can be seen with Nancy in her Tweeted picture above) we have also confirmed that one of the film’s newest additions, Hayden Panettiere, is in town and was spotted at Salon Vox in Ann Arbor last week!

Courthouse Becomes Police Station

Here’s the latest Woodsboro location to be doubled in Scream 4.

An Ann Arbor-based movie company working with famed director Wes Craven has rented the former 16th District Court through August and will be shooting scenes for the director’s next movie there.



Production crews working with Craven, who has directed A Nightmare on Elm Street and the Scream series, are expected to shoot footage there sometime this summer.

City officials remain tight-lipped about the movie’s title, but according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) website, Craven is currently in pre-production for Scream 4.

Mayor Jack Kirksey would not comment on when footage would be shot at the courthouse, but called the company’s use an “outstanding and exciting use of the building.”

“We will continue to look at how the building is used in the future, as we had the town hall meeting and received many ideas for that facility,” Kirksey said. “But for a temporary use of the building, it is an outstanding use. It will not affect the future use of the building.”

At a recent study session Kirksey told the council that the courthouse was being used for a Wes Craven movie. “It brings us revenue, but it does not take away from the future use of the building,” he said.

Dave Varga, director of administrative services, and the Law Department negotiated for several months a contract that was hammered out about two weeks ago with the movie company. Varga said the city will receive just under $10,000 for the rental of the building.

The company will also pay for any custodial or utilities used in the building.

The company has agreed to return the courthouse to its original configuration once shooting is completed. For now, crews have entered the building and transformed an office area into a room that resembles the inside of a police station, Kirksey said.

“They have completed a new room within the building,” Kirksey said. “They’ve put in all desks with family pictures, and a chalkboard with an update on crimes.”

ich verstehe was du meinst, nur ich zb würde das nicht aushalten. ich liebe dieses rumgestalke. und noch gibt es ja keine zuuuuu großen infos. die trailers z.b. die werde ICH mir auch nicht ansehen!

Presumably Just Jared was Just Bored last week because they photographed star Emma Roberts leaving Blockbuster Video. But happy surprise, look what was in the rent-stack – the original Scream. Roberts is probably cramming before filming at the end of the month when Jill will be tracing along some of the same points Sidney Prescott did.

lohnt sich das ganze rumgespoiler überhaupt noch? oO schließlich gibts jetzt vermutlich bis zum start nur noch sowas?

Adam Brody, Marley Shelton, and Erik Knudsen Join SCREAM 4

You can add some more names to Ghostface’s list of potential victims. Heat Vision reports that Adam Brody (Jennifer’s Body), Marley Shelton (A Perfect Getaway), and Erik Knudsen (SAW, Youth in Revolt) have joined the cast of Wes Craven’s Scream 4. According to HV, “Brody will play a cop recently graduated from college who was raised on the CSI TV series; Shelton will play a deputy who knew Campbell’s character in high school; and Knudsen will have a role similar to the one played by Jamie Kennedy in the first two installments, a character who is familiar with horror movie conventions and a provider of comic relief.”

No Gore For Gilmore Girl? Lauren Graham Out

It appears Lauren Graham has left Scream 4 and with it, the potential to be the next Maureen Prescott… or Mrs Loomis.

According to my aforementioned little birdie close to the set, Lauren Graham is no longer in “Scream 4? due to date conflict and script changes.

Please, please stop weeping.

Who would you like to see take her place as Kate, the mother of Emma Roberts’ character Jill Kessler? (As if anyone could.) Who do you think will be the next cast member to get the ax? Maybe “Scream” is going uber-meta and killing off the entire cast before the movie is barely into production.


The tip comes from the source that originally broke the casting news. Not 24 hours later, Graham herself confirmed it on The Tonight Show (video here). If true, the pointed reference to the script could simply mean those ever dreadful “creative differences”. Scream 3 suffered from rewrite hell, but everything has indicated Scream 4 to be a smoother sail with Kevin Williamson back at the word processor.
