After begging fans to stream her new album 'Rare' (post about it here), Selena Gomez is now taking matters into her own hands and buying copies of her own album.
The 27-year-old singer admitted on Instagram stories that she's been going around retailers like Target and Walmart to purchase her own album in order to debut #1.
She says in the video, "Alright, so one more day to see if I can buy as many albums as possible, so we are currently going to Target and Best Buy and Walmart. Am I like kind of desperate for doing this now? I don't care. I don't care, because this album is so rare. I'm very, very, very eager and excited for it to do...Just really stream the album!"
'Rare' is battling rapper Roddy Rich's album 'Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial' for the top spot.
