Diesen Tweet hab ich auch nicht gesehen, also ist es fraglich, ob es wirklich stimmt.

Mhm.... Sie muss sich doch bewusst gewesen sein, dass wenn sie schreibt "im studio mit zwei wunderbaren Frauen", dass dann die Gerüchteküche hochkocht von wegen Sugababes 1.0-Reunion. Wenn es nicht stimmt, wieso schreibt sie dann sowas erst? Sie muss sich doch auch bewusst sein, dass das für sie ganz schön in die Hose gehen kann....

Wobei... Vielleicht kommen alle drei Solo-Alben dieses Jahr heraus, und auf jeder ist eine Zusammenarbeit der drei drauf?

Mal ein paar Neuigkeiten....

1. Amelle ist im Studio und arbeitet an neuen Songs. Habe aber keine Ahnung, in welche Richtung das gehen wird, also ob sie es Solo veröffentlicht, ob es Musik für die Sugababes ist, ob es Musik für jemand anderen ist oder ob sie als Gastmusikerin zu hören sein wird (letzters eher weniger, denn ihre Tweets klingen schon so, als ob sie selber an was schreiben würde...).

Allerdings gab es glaube ich um die Zeit jemanden, der eine Fake-Amelle-Account hatte und unter diesem eine Menge Mist geschrieben hat. Konnte leider nicht finden, was die Fak-Amelle geschrieben hat, aber Mutyas Reaktion...

The current Sugababes members are on an ­indefinite break... but there’s big news from the original ‘98 line-up.


The rumours are true – Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhán ­Donaghy are back together and they have already started work on a new album.

The girls were in an Ealing ­recording studio last week ­working on a new track written by Brit Award winner Emeli Sandé and producer Naughty Boy, and ­apparently it reeks of the early days of the band.

The track is called Love Like This and the lyrics talk about an elephant in the room – apt after the band’s rocky past with loads of line-up ­changes.

Part of the lyrics go: “Won’t hold my breath again, I still remember when I gave you my heart and it turned out irrelevant. Back on the medicine, back in the thick of it, it’s here in the room but we don’t talk about the elephant.”

My insider tells me: “The song is about not being used to being loved because you have been hurt so many times before, and that you think you have been loved before but in reality you haven’t. The girls are very much back to their soulful roots but this time around it’s far more innovative. They’ve recorded more tracks too – and they’re working hard to get a body of new work.

“Siobhán has left her job in the City and they are concentrating on getting material together for an album. They are very dedicated and it’s ­working well.”


The plan after they have enough songs for an album is to bag a deal helped by new ­manager Felix Howard, co-writer of debut single Overload. Three major labels are interested.

But I hear Keisha, who left the group in September 2009, wants to get her solo material released before they give things a go as a band.

Meanwhile Heidi Range, who is competing in ITV1’s Dancing on Ice, told me the current Sugababes – Heidi, Amelle Berrabah and Jade Ewen – have no plans to record together. But they haven’t ­officially split and are firm friends.

“The Sugababes have got no plans for anything at the ­moment,” Heidi said. “Nothing. It’s a break. There are no plans at all for the future. I’ve loved having some time out from the band.”

Say what you like about the line-up changes. But the one thing the ‘Babes have always put first is the music. I can’t wait to have the originals back in action. Hurry up!
