Ich bin immer noch erstaunt darüber das Liam so schlecht verkauft hat vom Album.
Er hatte von allen Ex-1D members die besten Songwriter auf dem Album. (Ed Sheeran / Steve Mac / Ryan Tedder / Stargate etc.)
Sogar Horror Niall und Louis T. sind erfolgreicher als er...
Bei Harry und Zayn war es ja vorher schon klar das sie erfolgreich werden würden. Aber Zayn schwächelt ja inzwischen auch schon wieder.

Wieso Horror? Niall hat doch ein ganz stimmiges Konzept und paar gute Singles ( vom letzten Album mochte ich nur On The Loose, den aber dafür richtig) und kommt sympathisch rüber. Er hat für die USA Arenen gebucht, denke er wird live nicht grotte sein, kommt auf jeden Fall mehr als glaubwürdiger Künstler rüber als Liam, den ich auch okay finde aber irgendwie ist er mehr Model Boy, der halt mal singt, wovon er bzw seine Plattenfirma und Manager denken, dass es funktionieren könnte. Live oder Albumkünstler, wird man so einfach nicht, das interessanteste ist irgendwie immer nur, wenn er mal wieder Unterwäsche Fotos macht.
Louis hat bestimmt auch nicht viel mehr von seinem Album ''verkauft'' und höhere Streams, er hat halt zu ner ''Konkurrenzarmen'' Zeit veröffentlicht und Liam kurz vor Weihnachten, der Chartverlauf war trotzdem floppig, glaube er kommt vielen aber zumindest sympathischer rüber.

Das mit dem Horror war nur Spaß! Ich wollte damit nur ausdrücken, dass das Album von Liam nicht so schlecht ist wie es abgeschnitten hat. Ich denke auch das Niall besser ankommt als er. Schlecht sind die Niall Songs natürlich nicht. "Put a Little Love on Me" vom neuen Album finde ich richtig gut.

Lustigerweise ist sein Airplay total stark. Seine Songs höre ich laufend am Band.

Ich kenne nur seine Songs, die im Radio rauf- und runtergespielt werden und die gefallen mir allesamt wirklich gut. Ich verstehe den extremen Album-Flop bei ihm nach wie vor nicht.

“Honestly, it wasn't a deliberate move [to make sexual songs], it was a very confusing time for me when I was making that album. I was going through a lot of personal things that I didn't speak about a lot; with song writing, stage fright and being scared of the future. I am sorry to anyone who got offended by certain songs or different things on the album for sure. It was never my intention with any of the writing or things I was doing. I was just challenging myself in different areas. Looking back on it now, it was just a moment in time for me.”

On how the success of his STD influenced the rest of his music: “I had writing to do with Strip That Down but I didn't necessarily write the song. After that, a lot of the songs I got sent from then on were all sexually based. I was pigeonholed into this kind of thing and of course, I am a young guy I am interested in that sort of stuff, I like the idea of the songs and the grooves or certain vibes so I was like ‘ok let's go for it.’ It was a growing period. It just kind of happened.”

He’s chill and is taking a different approach after flopping: “I'd say the new music will be less sexy. I think I passed my time on that one anyway. Despite photoshoots or whatever else you may see from me I am a lot more chill about things these days. It is a different direction with the label and the management, it's a rejuvenation rather than going down that route again.”

On new music and putting more thought into his lyrics and the message: “The music I am looking at now is a lot different. Getting back in the studio I really am looking at what the messages are I want to say rather than just going through the motions of making a song, putting it together and going ‘yeh that sounds good’ and putting it out. It isn't really the way to do it.” No shit Lime.
