Zu den Auftritt der Sussex bei Global Citizen fallen mir zwei Statements von den Beiden ein. Erstens "Service is Universal" und zweitens "Love wins".

Die Sussex haben mit ihrer NY Tour gezeigt, dass es ihnen gelungen ist eine wie sie es wollten progressivere und modernere Rolle innerhalb der britischen Königsfamilie und außerhalb der "Firma" zu finden.

Die Sussex sind übrigens wieder Zuhause. Kurz nach ihrem Auftritt bei global Citizen, flogen sie per Privat Jet zurück nach LA. Nach einer innigen Verabschiedung ihrer Mitarbeiter machten die Sussex sich direkt auf den Weg zu ihren Kindern.

sie sehen wirklich sehr glücklich zusammen aus. Man muss ja auch mal bedenken, was sie tagtäglich an Dreck und Müll über sich lesen müssen, das geht an niemanden spurlos vorbei.

Prinz Harry liest nach eigenen Angaben Presse Berichte über ihm, seine Ehefrau macht das nicht, wie sie selbst in einem Podcast sagte und ihr Gatte im Ophra Interview bestätigte.


Neuer Termin

Prince Harry will appear at the Intrepid Museum’s 2021 Salute to Freedom gala on Weds, Nov. 10 to "present the inaugural Intrepid Valor Awards to 5 service members, veterans and military families living with the invisible wounds of war."

Singer Jon Bon Jovi (who has also worked with Prince Harry to record a song w/ the Invictus Games Choir) will be honored with the 2021 Intrepid Lifetime Achievement Award at the gala.

Intrepid Museum president, Susan Marenoff-Zausner, said in a statement:
"We are so grateful to Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex for honoring and amplifying the stories of these heroes and helping to raise awareness for mental health support for our men and women in uniform."

ich denke, er liest eher die US Presse, und die ist zum Glück nicht so bösartig wie die englische. Von denen kommt doch der ganze Mist.
Und ob Harry die englische Presse noch liest, bezweifle ich . Dieses ständigen Negativschlagzeilen der englischen Presse sind in den USA auch schon aufgefallen , die demontieren sich doch langsam selber

When the couple visited Melba's Harlem on Friday after Meghan read her book The Bench to students at PS 123 that morning, "They were extremely gracious, very, very kind and really genuine," owner Melba Wilson shares.

The stopover was naturally kept top-secret (Wilson couldn't even tell her staff until an hour beforehand), but despite the pomp and circumstance most royals would require, Wilson said Harry and Meghan immediately eased her nerves.

"The hug that they both greeted me with was so warm," she says. "They have a way of making you feel comfortable, and that was everything to me. It was almost like I was talking to two familiar people that I've known for quite some time."

But lunch wasn't necessarily the main priority for Meghan, 40, and Harry, 37. The couple specifically requested that Wilson not close the restaurant for a private visit because "they wanted to be with the people, and that to me was so endearing," says Wilson.

"They took time to engage with other customers who were shocked that they were there ... [they talked] with our service staff, with our chef," she adds.

"What surprised me was how down-to-earth, how comforting, how caring they really are. And it's not what I expected from a royal," she says. "They really are amongst the nicest people I've ever met."

A spokesperson for the Nigerian diplomat tells BAZAAR that during the meeting, Mohammed “commended the initiatives of the Archewell Foundation in promoting vaccine equity around the world.”

Though moments of the Sussexes’ visit carried hallmarks of a royal trip, the absence of palace protocol meant that the couple were free to plan an itinerary without interference—or fear of engagements being deemed “too political.” Vaccine equity, for example, is a topic members of the royal family have yet to address. It also allowed the couple to carry out some of their work away from the press, resulting in a number of moments being captured only by the couple’s accompanying photographer, Matt Sayles, and a videographer working on a future project.

Regardless, their words on vaccine equity were heard loud and clear by millions around the world, and their efforts—alongside world leaders, advocates, campaigners, and performers—helped this year’s Global Citizen Live raise $1.1 billion to support climate, famine, and COVID response efforts, and more than 60 million COVID-19 vaccines.

Vaccine equity will continue to be a primary focus for the Sussexes. As they take the final steps out of their parental leave following the birth of their daughter and COVID restrictions are further eased, Harry and Meghan will be increasingly visible over the months ahead as they unveil more work happening within their Archewell Foundation. “This was a knockout trip,” the friend says. “It’s an exciting time. … There is so much they want to achieve, and there is only two of them, but they’re in it for the long haul.”
